- The Fey Ball of Neva'lo :
Every year the Fey of Tylwyth Lonn hold a festival celebrating one of their oldest remembered traditions, Neva'lo. The elegant fairies would decorate and dress up, masking their faces and dancing about in order to scare off evil spirits for the coming year.
Today, this tradition has evolved to something significantly less feral and is now a full on Ball opened to all of Velandi.
Guests are required to dress in formal attire with a mask that at least covers half of the face.
The style usually adopted by the Fey themselves still holds hints of their more wild heritage, with themes of plants, flowers, trees, and bugs being very common. They decorations are ethereal and mysterious, lending a fanciful mood to the evening.
All manner of fairy food and drink will be served throughout night and dancing will continue until just before dawn.
- How to Participate:
Draw your character in a formal outfit that fits to the themes of the Fey (fake fairy wings aren't frowned upon either). It could just be the design, or perhaps a scene of them enjoying the festivities.
Holiday Events will take place every couple of weeks, meaning they are not following up on each other directly. During these 'breaks', this journal will remain empty.
